Kartik Adak is an experienced cybersecurity professional with over three years of expertise in information security, incident response, and penetration testing. Having obtained a Master’s in Cyber Security Management from the University of Warwick, he specializes in penetration testing, incident response, and red teaming.
Kartik has worked as an Information Security Analyst at Persistent Systems, where he enhanced real-time threat detection and performed malware analysis to reduce security vulnerabilities. Previously, as an Associate Consultant at Progist Solutions LLP, he led red team exercises and developed security use cases to identify and mitigate cyber threats.
A recognized security researcher, Kartik has been inducted into the Bug Bounty Hall of Fame by over 15 organizations, including Dell and TripAdvisor. His achievements also include ranking in the top 10 of a blue team Capture the Flag (CTF) competition and earning the prestigious "Hacker" rank on Hack The Box.
As a speaker at BSides London, he has presented on web application honeypots for detecting attack vectors, showcasing his expertise in cyber threat intelligence. Kartik has also shared insights on cybersecurity through online seminars, including topics such as the deep web, TOR networks, and Tails OS.
With a passion for defending against evolving cyber threats, Kartik continues to contribute to the cybersecurity community through research, public speaking, and hands-on security operations.
