Francisco is an ML Research Scientist at Dynamo AI, a leading startup building enterprise solutions that enable private, secure, and compliant generative AI systems. He earned his PhD in trustworthy machine learning from the University of Oxford as part of the Autonomous Intelligent Machines and Systems CDT, advised by Prof. Philip Torr, Dr. Adel Bibi, and Dr. M. Pawan Kumar (Google DeepMind). His research focused on bridging certifiable and empirical best-effort machine learning, with applications spanning vision, physics, and language models. His work has been recognized with a workshop outstanding paper award and an oral presentation at ICML 2023 and 2024. Before his PhD, he worked as a Research Engineer at FiveAI, an autonomous driving startup later acquired by Bosch.
