About me
Behnaz Karimi is a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Accenture and a Co-Author and Co-Lead of OWASP AI Exchange, where she also serves as the Lead for AI Red Teaming. She has actively contributed to OWASP initiatives, including participating in the development of the GenAI Red Teaming Guide for OWASP Top 10 for Large Language Model Applications & Generative AI. Behnaz has also been a speaker at the OWASP Chapter Germany and was invited as a panelist for a discussion on AI Governance at the ISACA Conference 2025.
With over 14 years of experience in computer engineering and network security, Behnaz has held roles such as Security Engineer, Network Administrator, and Security Consultant for diverse organizations in Germany. She has extensive audit experience in Big 4 firms for major automobile companies and is a core team member for AI security in EMEA at Accenture. Her expertise also includes implementing secure AI software.
